Why have the Republicans told people to listen to an 80 yr old Capt. but vilified numerous Generals ?

Of course it's biased, it's American politics. It's always like that. When it comes to military matters, anyone who wore a uniform and agrees with you is a hero and proof that you know what you're talking about. Anyone who disagrees with you is ignored or attacked. It is fairly typical.
