Do you think she likes me?

So i text with this girl pretty much every night. She tells me that she likes it when I text her first. One time she told me that she liked a different boy. Then she found out that he didn't like her back. She was really sad about it. Then like three days later she told me very cleary that she didn't like him anymore when we were not even talking about him. She asked me to the Sadie hawkens dance. But at the dance she hardly talked to me when our group was around. The couple of times we were alone we talked really well. When she dropped me off she didn't walk me to the door. But like 10 min after she left she texted me saying she was sorry that she didn't walk me to the door and give me a better goodbye. I am really confused because sometimes it seems like she does like me but other times she just wants to be friends. I also get the feeling that sometimes she likes the other guy and does not even want to be friends with me. Should i tell her how I feel? I don't think I should cuz I really like our friendship and don't want to ruin it. Also her parents would not really want her to have a boyfriend. But if I did she might like me back I would at least have some peace of mind. What should I do?
