Why would a 33 year old man behave like this? (long story) im really hurting can you help me out with advice?

I think the relationship moved way too fast. 2 months was not much time to really know someone. All you saw was the persona people put on when they are first getting to know each other. You did not experience the problems. So what you fell for is not the entire man but just one small part. What you are finding out now is how insecure and untrusting he is. If he is not willing to work through even small petty problems then imagine how the big problems will go. He is right, you should move on.
